As part of São Paulo Design Week, ARC presents MUTA, an installation that will occupy the Satélite Studio showcase from March 5 to 15, establishing a direct dialogue between art and design.

The collaboration between artists and designer Viola Pineider, from ARC studio, and Nadezhda Mendes da Rocha, from Satélite Studio, gives shape to the exhibition TRANSMUTAÇÃO: an experience that explores the poetic potential of waste and celebrates reuse as an aesthetic and political gesture. Waste material is given new meaning, generating new perceptual possibilities and blurring the boundaries between object, body, and environment.

The opening takes place on March 7, starting at 5 p.m., with a happy hour for guests—a moment for gathering and exchange around the process and ideas underlying the project.

Throughout the exhibition period, a selection of jewelry from ARC’s collection will be on display and available for purchase inside the studio, extending the installation’s experience to the scale of the body.

From March 5 to 8, artist Viola Pineider will be present at the venue, available for conversations about the creative process, the outcomes of her research, and the studio’s upcoming projects.

An opportunity to experience up close a territory of transition, where waste is transformed into language and jewelry asserts itself as a sensitive extension of matter.
